Get latest simshots on your desktop with the free Vista/Windows 7 gadget

mySIMSHOTS.NET has launched a free Windows sidebar/desktop gadget showing the latest screenshots uploaded on the site in a slideshow directly on your desktop. This will allow you to stay up to date with the latest additions without the need of checking the site every day.

Clicking on the thumbnail will open the image page from the site in order for you to view the screenshot in detail and full size.

Download this archive on your desktop and extract it. Double click on the gadget file to install it. You will be prompted to accept installing it. Choose Yes. If not already started, please open your sidebar (Start -> Run -> sidebar.exe on Vista) and enjoy the gadget.

On Windows 7 the gadget should appear on your desktop after the install and start the feed. If it does not happen right click on desktop, go to Gadgets and find it in the list.

To uninstall, just go to the gadget list (either from desktop or sidebar + sign), right click on the gadget and uninstall it. I hope you find it usefull.
